RentalCars NZ offers cars from small hatchbacks through to HITACHI battery 12 seat minibuses at prices for all budgets.
Conversion Rate Optimisation offers a great way for RentalCars NZ to test different scenarios and the optimisation aims to improve user experience for visitors landing on the website.
So, what was the campaign objective?
For this special experiment, the goal was to enhance online completed bookings and increase the revenue. Below is the simplified 5 step approach used for this experiment.1. Ask a question

2. Do Background Research
FIRST decided to focus on the /vehicles/ page as this page was identified as being one of the primary landing pages for AdWords visitors.
3. Construct a hypothesis
We felt there could be a slight disconnect from a user experience perspective. So, if a user would click a specific ad that promotes a specific price, then a product matching this price point should be instantly visible on the specific landing page.
4. Test with an experiment
FIRST created a variation of the vehicles page, ordering the vehicles from cheapest to most expensive.
5. Analyse data and draw conclusions
